If life is a catwalk, run like a dog.


Nowhere Near Here' is a stop motion animation that uses a combination of light with stencils and long exposure photography to tell the story of a dog running around the city at night, doing whatever a dog does. The animation was first exhibited at the The Herbert, in Coventry, on the 7th October 2010.

本片是一部 stop motion 動畫，拍攝地點在英國倫敦，作者以長曝技巧配合不同模版、不同顏色光線投射出故事中在夜間閒晃的小狗主角，配樂也很讚。不過，作者在夜半三更的拍攝過程中，最大的挑戰卻是來自路人的疑懼眼光，以及對他始終疑心疑鬼的巡邏警察，或是路邊醉漢的騷擾....haha

不過， Nowhere Near Here 最令我個人吃驚的是，作者在發行本片的同時，他所附帶建立的後續獲利模式，請參考作者官網http://www.pahnl.co.uk/store.php  除了販售限量簽名的藝術微噴（Giclee Print）複製畫，竟然還賣小狗便利貼，如果未來市場反應好，我猜想鎖匙環、冰箱磁鐵等衍生商品也會很快問市...所以每部動畫片的發想，都可以同步構思一個宏偉的計畫～
